Waterford Road, Henleaze
(opposite the Esso
garage on Henleaze Road).
THE CLASS PLAN...........
We welcome all to our dancing, from beginners to the very experienced.
The whole class will start together
and then beginners will move to another room for a rapid coaching session.
After the mid evening break, the whole class will dance together and
new dancers are encouraged to stay as long as they feel happy,
thus increasing their skills as fast as they wish.
Through the year there will be two teachers: PETER WRIGHT and BARBARA de WINTON
Associate teacher: CHERYL AYERS
PETER will teach the main class from 7.30 to 10pm and
BARBARA will teach the beginners for their coaching session
For threee weeks in the middle of each term Barbara will take the Main class for the evening,
with Peter taking the Beginners.
SUMMER 2008: BARBARA will take the main class for the first four weeks in MAY.

AUTUMNN 2007 : 13 Sept. - 13 Dec. (BEGINNERS START OCTOBER 4TH)

The class will start PROMPT at 7.30 with music to enable you to warm up as you wish.
A suggested routine is - with a partner or two,
brisk walking, walk with arm circling,
gentle travel steps, walk again,
stationary knee raises.
DO NOT DO ANY STRETCHING AT THIS TIME!!
We provide a CRIB OF THE DANCES done each Thursday to help you in reviewing the dances.
Some of these will be printed orange and it will help if you try to learn those
so that we build a core of KNOWN dances which can be done at a moment’s notice.
You will remember we did this for the Ball last season - so some of those will be there again.

FEES: You can pay £4 nightly ,
but we do PREFER that you settle for each term within a couple of weeks of the start (you gain by this!).
(Non-members £4.50 - so why not fill in a membership form??)
DISPLAY CLASS
Occasionally we are asked to provide a DISPLAY for functions such as Burn's Night Dinners, and fund raising events.
There is now a MONTHLY CLASS for those wishing to take part in these displays.
It meets on MONDAYs and you should see BARBARA de WINTON for further details.
