REPORT
2010-11
THE COMMITTE consists of:
CHAIRMAN elected for a TWO year period following ONE year holding the post of
CHAIRMAN ELECT. This post is therefore vacant EVERY OTHER year;
SECRETARY, who is elected each year, for a maximum of four consecutive years.
TREASURER elected annually, for a maximum of four consecutive years.
FOUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS each elected for a two year period.
The varying periods of office are to enable continuity and to use the experience aquired.
In addition the Committee can co-opt or ask others to attend meetings, for example,
THURSDAY CLASS TEACHERS are normally asked to attend.
The 2004 AGM Constitution amendements were passed, whereby, amongst other detail, we seek to elect two Ordinary Committee members each AGM.
To enable this the Committee have the power to co-opt a member for one year
